Alex lives in an apartment with a 200 sq ft patio garden packed with fruit trees, herbs, and veggies in containers. Here's how Alex uses the Backyard Gardener App:

Alex’s 10 Products Listed:

  • Cherry tomatoes – $4 per pint

  • Basil bunches – $3 each

  • Mint bunches – $3 each

  • Rosemary sprigs – $4 per bunch

  • Mini sweet peppers – $5 per quart

Pricing:
All items are priced just slightly below grocery store prices, making it a great deal for local buyers while still earning Alex a fair profit.
 If Alex sells:

  • 10 pints of cherry tomatoes = $40

  • 10 bunches of basil = $30

  • 5 bunches of mint = $15

  • 5 bunches of rosemary = $20

  • 5 quarts of sweet peppers = $25

  • 10 jalapeño pints = $40

  • 20 lemons = $20

  • 10 limes = $10

  • 10 bunches of green onions = $20

  • 10 pints of strawberries = $50

Total Sales = $270

Commission (3%) = $8.10

Alex’s Net Profit = $261.90
